Additional amounts

Depending on your situation, you may be eligible for supplements in addition to the basic amount.

Social supplement

Are you struggling to make end of the month? Then we will be happy to help you get the social supplement.

School allowance

Is a little extra help welcome in September? The school allowance is extra support for the whole school year. The child benefit fund pays this education allowance in the kindergarten, elementary and high school.

Child care allowance

Does your child attend a day-care centre recognised by the Flemish Community and the cost is not calculated on the basis of your income? Then you are entitled to € 3.29 per full day of care. 

Pre-school allowance

If your child is currently attending a kindergarten recognized by the Flemish Community and has attended school for a sufficient number of days, you are entitled to a pre-school allowance, known as 'kleutertoeslag'.

Additional benefits

Does your child have a condition or disability? You can apply for a child allowance for children with a medical condition or disability. This depends on the degree of the condition.
